Croatian Health Insurance Institute (HZZO) launches e‑Reporting for workplace injuries

The Croatian Health Insurance Institute (HZZO) has introduced a new digital service, ePrijava ozljede na radu, allowing employers, designated primary‑care doctors and HZZO staff to submit workplace injury reports electronically through the e‑Health portal. The system automates the completion of reports, provides status tracking, and reduces the need for paper. HZZO processes more than 17,000 injury reports each year, which previously required five paper copies each, amounting to around 200,000 sheets of paper annually.

Alongside the new e‑reporting tool, HZZO provides a directory of email addresses for regional offices and local branches to facilitate the submission of requests and claims related to compulsory health insurance rights across Croatia’s counties and cities.
