Bosnia and Herzegovina 2026 general election results announced

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has officially released the results for the 2026 general elections. Preliminary projections indicate significant shifts in mandate distribution within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH).

In the FBiH House of Representatives, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) is projected to lose one mandate to HDZ BiH. This change is attributed to postal vote counts in Electoral Unit 8, which covers the Central Bosnia Canton. In this unit, HDZ BiH secured 2,994 postal votes (75.3 percent), while SDA received 343.

Nationwide postal vote totals show HDZ BiH leading with 16,693 votes, followed by SDA with 11,859 (15.7 percent) and SNSD with 8,532 (11.3 percent). In the Republic of Srpska, the Coalition for the State emerged as a notable recipient of postal ballots in Electoral Unit 1.

Regarding the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Igor Dodik received 21,735 individual votes in Electoral Unit 3, while Draško Stanivuković received 17,633 votes in the same unit.
