Police in Croatia and Bosnia seize multi‑kilogram drug caches

Police in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, raided a suspect’s home and recovered two packages of white powder resembling drugs, a digital scale and various tools. The 39‑year‑old suspect, identified as N. H., is being held on suspicion of two aggravated thefts and drug‑related offenses.

In the Croatian town of Tisno, officers from the Šibenik‑Knin County criminal police seized large quantities of marijuana, cocaine, MDMA and related paraphernalia from a 23‑year‑old male suspect. Separate operations in the same area detained a 40‑year‑old Macedonian national with MDMA, ketamine and cocaine, and a 32‑year‑old British national found with marijuana, MDMA, ketamine, LSD and psilocybin mushrooms, along with cash.

In the Zagreb suburb of Dubrava, police, customs officials and the Zagreb Police Department intercepted a package from Canada declared as leather goods that contained 10.6 kg of cannabis. A follow‑up search of the suspect’s residence uncovered an additional 1.2 kg of cannabis, a digital scale, packaging equipment and cash. All suspects have been detained pending court proceedings.
