Croatian supporters and minister spark fan frenzy in Dallas before England match
Croatia’s Minister of Justice, Administration and Digital Transformation Damir Habijan travelled to Dallas on a official visit and joined the American‑Croatian Friendship Parade ahead of the Croatia‑England football match at AT&T Stadium. He shared photos of the large Croatian fan presence, wearing his signature checkered shirt and a big national flag, and visited the historic Stockyards before departing from Paris.
Fans gathered in the Texas Live arena and the Arlington Backyard area, turning the venue into a massive open‑air café with bars, restaurants and a 30‑metre LED screen. Highlights included a Croatian “Santa” and four “ice‑maids” who entertained English supporters, while police warned against public drinking. The atmosphere was described as a “grandiose” celebration of Croatian pride among thousands of expatriates and travelers from around the world.
