Police report reckless driving and violent crimes across Croatia
Various criminal incidents and traffic violations have been reported across Croatia and the region.
In the Zagorje region, a 22-year-old man is facing criminal charges for reckless driving. Between January and July, he allegedly drove speeds up to 280 km/h, operated a vehicle using his feet, and filmed his dangerous maneuvers on a mobile phone while driving in the wrong lane.
In Osijek, a 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Authorities state he attacked a 62-year-old man without provocation in King Drislav Park, causing severe injuries before fleeing.
Other reported incidents include a high-speed collision in Slavonski Brod involving an 18-year-old driver, a drunken driving accident in Marija Bistrica involving a 31-year-old, and a stolen truck chase in Italy involving a 62-year-old Bosnian citizen. Additionally, a 41-year-old in Montenegro was fined for driving under the influence and without a valid license.
