Cross River Bank integrates Ripple RLUSD and XRP Ledger
Cross River Bank has announced the integration of Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin and support for the XRP Ledger into its proprietary Core Operating System. This move allows fintech customers to access blockchain-based settlement alongside traditional payment methods such as ACH and wire transfers through a single API connection.
On the XRP Ledger, transactions are designed to settle within three to five seconds at a minimal cost. The integration aims to simplify cross-border payments, merchant settlement, and treasury transfers by providing a regulated banking workflow for stablecoin use. Adam Goller, Head of Fintech Banking at Cross River, stated that the partnership with Ripple is intended to eliminate complexity and make payments simpler.
In related market developments, Ripple Prime has launched 24/7 perpetual swaps for Real-World Assets (RWA) across more than 100 reference markets, including stocks, ETFs, and commodities. Additionally, some market analysts are monitoring a potential supply squeeze for XRP, noting significant institutional accumulation and movement of tokens off exchanges.
