Crown Princess Victoria celebrates 49th birthday with royal festivities on Öland

On 14 July 2026, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden marked her 49th birthday at the royal summer residence Schloss Solliden on the island of Öland. The celebration, known as Victoriadag, attracted thousands of fans who gathered for a multi‑day programme of family‑friendly activities, including hikes, a children’s festival, a 5 km run and a golf tournament.

The royal family appeared in coordinated summer attire: Victoria wore a floral ByTiMo dress, Prince Daniel a blue jacket, daughter Princess Estelle a striped shirt‑dress and son Prince Oscar, now 10, an light suit. The day featured a 21‑gun salute, a horse‑drawn carriage procession to the historic Borgholm ruin, and an evening concert televised nationwide. During the concert, Victoria presented the Victoria Award to cross‑country skier Frida Karlsson. The event also raised funds for the Crown Princess Victoria Fund, supporting seriously ill and disabled children.

Throughout the celebrations, Victoria was seen caring for Oscar, notably offering a supportive hand during the televised concert, underscoring the family‑centric nature of the festivities.
