Cruzeiro do Sul City Hall signs R$ 650,000 in social service agreements

The City Hall of Cruzeiro do Sul has signed agreements totaling R$ 650,000 to support the maintenance and activities of two local institutions: Lar dos Vicentinos and Educandário.

Lar dos Vicentinos will receive R$ 450,000, funded through parliamentary amendments from Senator Petecão (R$ 200,000), Federal Deputy Socorro Neri (R$ 150,000), and Senator Alan Rick (R$ 100,000). The institution has operated in the city since 1940 and currently provides care for 34 elderly residents.

Educandário will receive R$ 200,000, sourced from a parliamentary amendment by Federal Deputy Eduardo Veloso. Mayor Zequinha Lima signed the terms, emphasizing the necessity of these resources to sustain the essential services provided by these organizations.
