Cruzeiro do Sul Festival da Farinha generates R$ 13.5 million

The 9th Festival da Farinha in Cruzeiro do Sul generated approximately R$ 13.5 million to R$ 13.6 million in revenue, marking a growth of over 400% compared to the previous year. Mayor Zequinha Lima reported that the 2025 revenue was roughly R$ 3 million, highlighting the event's rapid expansion.

Organized by the City Hall in partnership with Sebrae and the Commercial Association, the festival serves as a business showcase for 163 commercial participants. The economic impact extends beyond the fairgrounds to local hotels, restaurants, markets, and transportation services.

Key contributors included family farmers and small entrepreneurs. Notable individual successes included vendors of tapioca and beiju, as well as a street food vendor who earned R$ 27,000 over three nights. Kleber Campos, technical director of Sebrae in Acre, noted that the festival is evolving from a cultural attraction into a significant regional business fair.
