Cruzeiro do Sul prepares for 9th Festival da Farinha

The 9th edition of the Festival da Farinha is scheduled to take place from August 26 to 29 at the Aeroporto Velho Sports Complex in Cruzeiro do Sul. The event aims to promote local culture, economy, and agricultural production.

Local authorities, including the City Hall and the Military Police, conducted a technical inspection of the venue to coordinate security measures. The planning includes monitoring access points, exits, and critical areas. Security efforts will be supported by the Military Police, the Fire Department, SAMU, and private security firms to ensure public safety during the four nights of programming.

For the first time, the festival will include a dedicated night of religious worship on August 27. This event will bring together various denominations, including Catholic and Evangelical churches, for a joint celebration of praise and thanksgiving for the city's economic success and local producers.
