Crvena Zvezda names training center after legend Vladimir Cvetkovic

Basketball club Crvena Zvezda has officially named its training facility within the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall after the late club legend Vladimir Cvetkovic. The ceremony honored Cvetkovic, who played for the club from 1959 to 1972, served as captain, and later worked as an honorary president and director of the Tasmajdan Sports Center.

Club president Zeljko Drcelic described Cvetkovic as “perhaps the greatest figure of Crvena Zvezda,” noting that the club continues to be guided by his vision and loyalty. The facility houses the team's gym, medical block, and assembly rooms.

In a separate seasonal announcement at Kalemegdan, the club also introduced its new coach, Ibon Navarro. The Spanish expert addressed fans in Serbian to mark the beginning of the new season, alongside club captain Ognjen Dobric and sporting director Milos Teodosic.
