Crvena Zvezda to face absences at Crete basketball tournament

Crvena Zvezda will compete in the 6th Crete International Basketball Tournament without key players Chima Moneke, Stefan Miljenovic, and Nikola Jurcic. Nigerian forward Chima Moneke is unable to travel to Greece because his passport has expired and is currently being renewed.

In addition to Moneke, coach Ibba Navarro will be missing Miljenovic and Jurcic due to injuries. The tournament, held from September 4 to September 6 at the Nea Alikarnas ‘Dyo Oraki’ indoor arena, features Olympiacos, Fenerbahce, and Armani Milano alongside Crvena Zvezda.

The tournament schedule begins Friday, September 4, with Armani Milano facing Crvena Zvezda at 18:30, followed by Olympiacos against Fenerbahce at 21:00. The event serves as a significant preseason test for the participating European clubs.
