Crypto Exchanges Binance and Uphold Launch US Stock Trading Services

Binance opened a US equities trading platform on June 1, 2026, giving non‑US users access to over 7,000 US‑listed stocks and ETFs via stablecoins and BNB. In its first week, emerging‑market participants generated 84.5% of trading volume, accounting for 73% of users, with a $400 million AUM that rose above $1 billion within a month. Fractional orders comprised 35% of volume, and the IT sector attracted 57% of allocations.

Uphold announced a single‑step crypto‑to‑equities service that lets US customers trade more than 4,000 US stocks and ETFs directly within its app, offering commission‑free trades and fractional shares starting at $5. “People want one app for all of their investing – crypto included,” said Nancy Beaton, President of Uphold US. The platform aims to expand to 24‑hour trading on weekdays, allowing users to move between crypto and equities without separate conversions or transfers.
