Crypto exchanges Bitget and Binance launch tokenized equity platforms
Bitget, the universal exchange serving over 125 million users, introduced Bitget Stocks 2.0, an upgraded tokenized‑stock spot product that links directly to U.S. market liquidity. The offering includes 36 stock‑linked tokens such as Apple, Amazon, Meta, Tesla and the QQQ ETF, features 1:1 economic mapping to the underlying shares, and allows dividends and corporate actions to be reflected in users’ balances. Trading is settled in USDT with fees as low as 0.05 %, and the tokens can be used across Bitget’s margin, grid‑trading and yield‑product tools.
Binance announced its bStocks program, bringing blockchain‑based representations of publicly‑traded equities to its platform. The service aims to broaden access to global stocks by removing geographic and fee barriers, offering near‑instant settlement and fractional ownership. Binance stresses that the initiative will coexist with traditional regulations, noting ongoing dialogue with authorities to address custody, shareholder‑rights and cross‑border compliance issues.
