Crystal Palace in advanced talks for Eintracht Frankfurt's Farès Chaïbi
Crystal Palace is in advanced discussions to sign Algerian international midfielder Farès Chaïbi from Eintracht Frankfurt. The 23-year-old, who has established himself in the Bundesliga, is a primary target for the London club as they look to strengthen their midfield before the summer transfer window closes.
While other Premier League clubs such as Brighton, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Brentford have previously shown interest, negotiations with Crystal Palace are reportedly the most concrete. Eintracht Frankfurt, which holds Chaïbi’s contract until June 2028, is in a strong negotiating position. Reports suggest the German club may value the player between 25 and 30 million euros, though some estimates suggest they could seek higher amounts.
Chaïbi joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Toulouse FC in 2023. He has since become a key figure for both his club and the Algerian national team, earning over 30 caps.
