Crystal Palace targets Imran Louza and Axel Disasi after shelving Ismaël Ganiou deal

Watford midfielder Imran Louza, 27, is linked with a move to Crystal Palace. Louza, under contract with Watford until June 2028, has attracted interest from Palace as well as Paris FC, OGC Nice and Ajax. Palace have reportedly inquired about his availability ahead of the September transfer deadline, offering the chance of European football.

Separately, Crystal Palace have abandoned a pursuit of Lens centre‑back Ismaël Ganiou after the French club set a €50 million valuation, far above Palace’s allocated €25 million budget for a defender. The club’s defensive recruitment now focuses on Chelsea‑bound centre‑back Axel Disasi, valued at around £25 million, following the departure of Maxence Lacroix to Chelsea.
