César Jáuregui Moreno warns against centralism in Chihuahua
Former state attorney general César Jáuregui Moreno addressed PAN militants at the “El arte de gobernar” conference in Chihuahua City, warning that an "asphyxiating, castrating centralism" would jeopardise the state’s development. He called for unity among public actors as the 2027 municipal election approaches, urging that it is "not the time to step back but to move forward".
Jáuregui Moreno reaffirmed his plan to stay active in politics, noting internal PAN polls that rank him among the leading contenders for the 2027 Chihuahua mayoral race. He also said he has provided authorities with information related to investigations in the Sierra Tarahumara and will await official findings.
