César Vargas, who has been with Pascual since 2022, has served as the company's CEO for nearly one year. He is currently leading a strategic transformation project aimed at making the company more competitive and decentralized.

Vargas has an extensive background in the beverage and food sectors. His previous experience includes over four years at Unilever and a role as marketing director for Bacardi in Portugal. He also spent a significant portion of his career at Suntory.

Regarding the broader economic impact, Vargas noted that the food industry represents 21% of the national industry and provides one out of every four rural jobs.
