CSG Group secures major defense contracts in Poland
The CSG Group has secured significant defense contracts in Poland, strengthening its strategic partnership with Zakłady Metalowe Dezamet, a subsidiary of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ). A contract valued at over 100 million euros was signed on July 24, 2026, for the supply of pyrotechnic components and subassemblies used in the production of 155mm artillery ammunition fuzes. This cooperation supports the mass production of ammunition for systems such as the Krab self-propelled howitzer.
In a separate but related expansion of its Polish operations, CSG has also secured orders exceeding 150 million euros from Huta Stalowa Wola SA (HSW). These orders involve the supply of chassis for the production of Waran 4x4 and Heron 6x6 multi-purpose tactical vehicles, which are being manufactured under license to support Polish defense requirements.
The agreements underscore the growing role of Czech-based CSG Group, led by Michal Strnad, in the European defense boom. The company continues to facilitate technology transfers and industrial cooperation to bolster the defense capabilities of NATO and European Union member states.
