Côte d’Ivoire National Assembly President visits Vietnam

Patrick Achi, the President of the National Assembly of Côte d’Ivoire, is conducting an official visit to Vietnam from August 23 to 26, 2026. Invited by Vietnam’s National Assembly President Tran Thanh Man, the visit follows the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

This mission marks the first time a high-level delegation from the Ivorian National Assembly has organized a study and experience-exchange program with its Vietnamese counterpart. The visit aims to deepen parliamentary diplomacy and strengthen bilateral cooperation in key sectors, including economic, trade, investment, agriculture, and industrial processing.

Additionally, the Côte d’Ivoire Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI-CI) is exploring increased participation in the Africa Space Expo (ASPEX) 2026 to enhance the visibility of Ivorian companies in the space technology sector.
