Cuauhtémoc Mayor Awards 50 Scholarships to Top Students

Mayor Humberto Pérez of Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, led a ceremony to present 50 scholarships to students who achieved a perfect 10‑point average, ranging from primary to higher education. Each recipient received a one‑time grant of 4,000 pesos, provided through the municipal Social Development Directorate.

The event took place at the Centro de Convenciones Centenario Tres Culturas and was attended by municipal officials including syndic Luly Mendoza, treasurer Paty Ramírez, and director of Social Development Luis Pimentel. Student Luis Erick Armendáriz thanked the mayor, saying the investment in their education shows that "effort does pay off" and that the municipality supports its youth.
