Cuautla announces free medical certificates and pet services

The Cuautla City Council, in coordination with the State of Morelos, is launching several community service initiatives. From August 19 to August 25, the municipality will offer free medical certificates for preschool, primary, and secondary students to assist families with back-to-school requirements and expenses. The campaign will rotate through various locations, including Colonia Lázaro Cárdenas, Año de Juárez, Colonia Iztaccíhuatl, the Alameda de Cuautla, and Colonia Las Cruces.

Additionally, a free pet sterilization campaign and the Unique Pet Registry (RUM) will take place on Sunday, August 23, at the José María Morelos Sports Unit. Organized by the Directorate of Environmental Protection and the Morelos State Secretariat of Sustainable Development, the event aims to promote responsible pet ownership and prevent overpopulation. Requirements for sterilization include pets being over four months old, a 10-hour fast, and specific handling instructions for dogs and cats.
