Cuautlancingo Mayor Omar Muñoz Delivers 845 Solar Heaters to Local Families
Mayor Omar Muñoz of Cuautlancingo handed out 845 solar water heaters to households in the municipality, part of a broader initiative that has so far distributed a total of 1,331 units. The latest batch was financed with more than 4.1 million pesos of municipal funds, while 486 heaters were previously acquired with resources from the FAISMUN program.
The solar heaters are intended to cut LPG gas consumption, lower energy expenses and promote environmental protection for the recipient families. Muñoz emphasized that the aid is provided directly, without intermediaries, to ensure transparency and close ties with residents. He also highlighted other municipal projects such as the rehabilitation of the main square, underground cabling works, the restoration of public spaces and the construction of a new sports centre.
