Cuiabá AgroFestival to Boost Regional Economy, Culture and Tourism
The Mato Grosso AgroFestival will be held in Cuiabá from 7 to 9 August at Parque Novo Mato Grosso. Organized with the support of the federal, state and municipal governments, the three‑day event combines agribusiness exhibitions, cultural performances, sport and religious activities.
Key attractions include the traditional Rodeio de São Cristóvão featuring an International Professional Bull Riders (PBR) stage, clinics for amateur rodeo athletes, concerts by national and regional artists, and displays of local cultural forms such as siriri, cururu and lambadão. A religious procession honoring São Cristóvão, vehicle blessings and a communal mass will also take place.
The festival provides a networking hub for producers, brand representatives, institutions and the public, aiming to strengthen agribusiness links, promote regional tourism and showcase Mato Grosso's cultural heritage.
