Cuiabá Expoagro 2026 offers free admission and municipal services
The 58th Expoagro opened on 10 July 2026 at the Centro de Eventos Senador Jonas Pinheiro in Cuiabá. For the first time the ten‑day agribusiness fair admitted visitors at no charge, a measure enabled by the partnership between the Prefeitura de Cuiabá and the Sindicato Rural. Mayor Abílio Brunini, Governor Otaviano Pivetta, and other state and municipal officials attended the inauguration.
The municipal stand provided a range of public services, including Cadastro Único assistance, animal‑welfare information, the "Cuiabá Acolhe Mulheres" project for women in violence, Procon guidance, health‑surveillance monitoring, and the Municipal Inspection Service for livestock‑product regularisation. The event also featured a cultural program: regional lambadão and sertanejo performances, a national show by Simone Mendes, and the "Destino Oriente" pavilion showcasing Arab, Japanese, Chinese and Indian cuisine from local entrepreneurs.
Visitors praised the free entry and the variety of services and food options, noting that the initiative made the fair more democratic and supportive of small‑business producers and local artists.
