CULTSP PRO offers 922 free cultural training spots in São Paulo

The CULTSP PRO program, managed by the Institute for Development and Management (IDG) for the São Paulo State Secretariat of Culture, Economy, and Creative Industries, is opening applications for 922 free training spots. The initiative aims to qualify individuals for the cultural and creative markets through 53 different courses.

Of the available spots, 847 are for in-person classes across 18 cities, including the capital, metropolitan areas, the interior, and the coast, while 75 spots are for online courses. Subjects range from technical skills like scenography, audiovisual production, and analog photography to management roles in museums, game design, sustainable fashion, and cultural entrepreneurship.

Applications open on Tuesday, September 9, and will run until September 21 via the program's website. The courses are open to individuals aged 16 and older. Participants who complete the training with at least 75% attendance and pass pedagogical evaluations will receive a digital certificate. The program includes specific provisions for vulnerable populations.
