Cultural and environmental events held in Italy's Marche region

Various cultural and environmental initiatives are taking place in the Marche region of Italy. In Ascoli Piceno, the Associazione Centuria Picena has announced the third edition of ‘Sulle orme del passato: la Roma imperiale rivive ad Ascoli’. Scheduled for September 6, 2026, at the Giardini Pubblici, the free event will feature Roman military reenactments, historical displays of daily life, and interactive educational activities.

In the Pesaro area, the Happennino festival is hosting the ‘Confluenze’ project, which focuses on the Metauro River. The initiative aims to explore the relationship between the environment and the community through trekking and discussions involving experts and playwright Marco Paolini to address territorial changes.

Additionally, the Parco Marino del Piceno has concluded its third edition of ‘Aperitivi di Mare e di Scienza’. The series, which drew over 700 attendees, focused on marine ecosystem protection and its economic benefits, featuring insights from biologists and experts to promote environmental awareness among citizens and tourists.
