Cultural art colonies and community gatherings held in Croatia and Serbia

Various cultural and community events are taking place in Croatia and Serbia. In Croatia, the Association of Persons with Disabilities of Koprivnica-Križevci County organized the 30th meeting of persons with disabilities and the 18th Ješkovo art colony at the Art Centar Ješkovo. The event aimed to promote inclusion and community involvement through sports activities, such as darts and cornhole, and creative workshops where participants presented handmade items like decorative candles and lavender bags.

In Serbia, the 63rd Sićevo Art Colony is currently underway in the village of Sićevo near Niš. Eight artists from Italy, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Republika Srpska, and Serbia are participating in the event, which runs from September 1 to September 10. The colony, founded on the tradition of the first Yugoslavian art colony by painter Nadežda Petrović, includes cultural excursions to local monasteries and historical sites. Works created during this session are scheduled for exhibition in the Niš Fortress Pavilion in November 2027.
