Cultural celebrations mark anniversaries for Oficina Francisco Brennand and Cinanima
The Oficina Francisco Brennand museum-atelier in Brazil is celebrating its 55th anniversary throughout November. To mark the occasion, the institution offered free admission to the public on Saturday, November 7. The anniversary programming includes the Brazil Circus Festival, featuring the performance “Idiòfona” by Spanish artist Joan Català, which explores the relationship between the body and metallic objects.
Other scheduled activities include themed mediated visits led by the museum's Education and Research team, a specialized tour of the “Ateliê Francisco Brennand – Uma janela para o mundo,” and immersive classes for making ocarinas. The museum stated these initiatives aim to democratize access to art and culture.
