Cultural centers in Croatia host community and heritage events

Cultural institutions in Croatia are hosting various educational and community events. In Veliki Grđevac, the Lovrak Center has attracted primary school students and retirees through a project highlighting the legacy of author Mato Lovrak. The center offers guided tours, workshops, and exhibits, including a railway set inspired by the novel ‘Train in the Snow’ and a mill representing ‘The Company of Pere Kvržica’.

In Zagreb, the KNAP cultural center is participating in the Open House Zagreb festival. As the city's oldest cultural home in the Peščenica district, KNAP provides a space for exhibitions, concerts, and workshops. The center is also transitioning to include a professional theater starting in 2025, continuing its long-standing role as a community hub for arts and education.
