Slovenia hosts regional cultural festivals and municipal celebrations
Slovenia is hosting several regional and cultural events. In Sežana, the municipality is celebrating its municipal holiday with a series of festivities including live music, local exhibitions, and concerts by Mi2 and Nočni skok. Mayor Andrej Sila noted that the municipality is undergoing significant infrastructure investments, including projects for a music school, fire station, and health center.
Other cultural highlights include the 18th Lutke international biennial festival of contemporary puppet art in Ljubljana, featuring 28 performances from 13 countries. Additionally, the Cankarjada festival continues to bring theater, music, and youth culture to Vrhnika, while the Jewish Cultural Center in Ljubljana has opened a permanent exhibition tracing Jewish presence in the region from the Roman Empire to the present day.
