Cultural events announced for León and Guadalajara

Several cultural events are scheduled in Spain. In León, the Auditorio Ciudad de León will host a performance of ‘Las peras de Dios’ on October 2. Based on a story by Antonio Pereira, the comedy is produced by the Antonio Pereira Foundation in collaboration with the León City Council as part of the San Froilán festivities. The production features eight performers, combining experienced actors with students from the School of Art.

In Guadalajara, the XXIV edition of the Fescigu film festival is set to take place from October 1 to October 10 at the Espacio Joven Europeo (EJE) in Azuqueca de Henares. Advance ticket sales opened on September 30. This year, the festival introduces a new ticketing system where attendees purchase tickets for specific sessions rather than full days, allowing for more flexible scheduling. The Official Short Film Section has expanded to five blocks, and the ‘Requetecortos’ segment will offer multiple viewing opportunities.
