Cultural events celebrate Serbian and Slovenian traditions in Slovenia

Various cultural celebrations have taken place in Slovenia, highlighting regional folklore and heritage. In Gornja Radgona, the folklore group of the Križevci pri Ljutomer Retirees Association performed at the Home for the Elderly. Accompanied by the Veseli Prlek ethno group, the performers shared traditional music and dances to foster intergenerational connection and preserve Slovenian folk culture.

In Kranj, the 21st Serbian Culture Days, organized by the Brdo Cultural Society, featured a multi-day program. The event included a literary forum dedicated to the Serbian Romantic poet Branko Radičević and a culinary showcase of traditional Serbian dishes. Musical performances included the ‘Pjesma roda mog’ event, which hosted various singing groups and guests from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the Gusle Academic Society from Kikinda.
