Regional cultural festivals and heritage events scheduled across Europe

Various regional cultural and community events are scheduled across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

In Haaksbergen, September features a diverse agenda including the Fotobiënnale, Schuttersfeesten, and the 40th edition of Open Monumentendag. Musical highlights include Balconia, where artists perform from balconies, and organ concerts at the Trinitatiskapel in Dordrecht.

In Essen, the Karrenmuseum will host Studio Ambacht on August 30, showcasing traditional crafts such as bronze casting, clog making, and blacksmithing alongside a makers' market.

In Rhede, the Rheder Markt will take place on September 20 and 21, featuring an artisanal market, a flea market, and a horse market expected to host over 200 horses. Other activities include a medieval camp, dragon boat racing, and an oldtimer exhibition.

Additionally, Rotterdam will host the Klassiek in het Park festival at the Euromast park on August 29 and 30, offering symphonic music and ballroom dancing.
