Cultural festivals announced for Santiago and Villa Gesell

Cultural celebrations are scheduled in Chile and Argentina. In Santiago, the GAM cultural center will host the ‘18 Chico’ event on September 26. This free celebration features musical performances by artists such as Banda Conmoción and Sigrid Alegría, alongside traditional Chilean activities including cueca dancing, gastronomy, and local games.

In Villa Gesell, Argentina, the 45th National Festival of Cultural Diversity will proceed with its traditional giant paella on October 11. Following previous budgetary concerns regarding the event's cost, local Mayor Gustavo Barrera reached an agreement with gastronomic entrepreneurs and workers to prepare the approximately one-ton dish at the former Shopping Alas site.
