Cultural festivals for youth announced in Athens and Nafplio

Greece will host two significant cultural festivals for children and youth in September 2026.

The 4th Cycladic Kids Festival, organized by the Museum of Cycladic Art in collaboration with the Municipality of Athens and Eurobank, will take place on September 26 and 27 at the Athens City Council Arts Center. The program, shaped by the ideas of children and adolescents from a global painting competition, includes sensory workshops, screenings, dance, concerts, stand-up comedy, sculpture, and augmented reality. The event emphasizes inclusivity and accessibility.

The 4th Nafplio Story Festival is scheduled for September 11, 12, and 13, 2026, at the Kastri Camping in Asini. Organized by the Nafplio Theater, the festival features storytelling, creative workshops, and music. A highlight of the event is the anniversary celebration on September 13, marking 20 years of collaboration between the Nafplio Storytellers and the Pleiades musical ensemble.
