Cultural festivals GATA and Crizantema de Aur held in Romania

Two significant cultural events are taking place in Romania. In Pitești, the fifth edition of the GATA National Youth Theatre Festival is running from October 24 to October 29. Under the theme ‘Tell Your Story’, the festival provides a platform for adolescents to share personal experiences and perspectives through theatrical performances, including interactive shows and a Monologue Slam.

Simultaneously, the ‘Crizantema de Aur’ National Festival of Creation and Interpretation of Romanța is being held in Târgoviște from October 22 to 24. Celebrating its 59th year, the festival focuses on the theme ‘Family of Romanța’, aiming to promote Romanian identity and musical traditions among new generations. The event includes musical performances, exhibitions, and educational programs designed to connect Romanian musical heritage with both domestic and diaspora audiences.
