Romania hosts diverse summer cultural and community festivals

Various cities across Romania are hosting diverse cultural and community events throughout August 2026.

In Bucharest, Calea Victoriei will become a pedestrian zone for sports and magic shows, while major parks will host open-air cinema and astronomy sessions. The city's administration is also setting new strategic goals for children's theaters, focusing on digitalization and social inclusion.

Other regional highlights include the Brașov Jazz & Blues Festival featuring international artists, the SPOTival festival in Bistrița combining music and entrepreneurship, and the Big Little Festival at Mogoșoaia Palace designed for families.

Additional celebrations include the 'Sabato Italiano' event in Iași, the maritime celebrations and concerts in Brăila, and steampunk-themed urban festivals in Constanța. Vaslui is also hosting cultural days featuring local history and community workshops.
