Cultural festivals in Uruguay and Spain highlight illustration and art

The Festival e’a! 2026, focused on illustration, reading, and oceanic culture, is scheduled for October 1 and 2 in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. The program includes book presentations such as ‘¿Peligrosos o en peligro?’ by Mar Azul Uruguayo, workshops, and encounters with various authors and artists at locations including Bastión del Carmen, Plaza de Toros, and CERP.

In Spain, emerging festivals are collaborating with internationally recognized illustrators for their visual identities. Ana Galvañ (also known as Kuclatori) has designed the promotional material for the second edition of the Achocuir festival, set for September 20-21 in Galifa, Cartagena. Additionally, illustrator Isa Muguruza has created the graphics for the Costera Sur festival, which will take place in Los Garres this coming April, featuring over 15 concerts and DJ sessions.
