Cultural festivals scheduled for Perpignan and Pibrac in October 2026

Two distinct cultural festivals are scheduled to take place in France in October 2026.

In Perpignan, the Les Trobades Médiévales event will be held on Saturday, October 10, from 10:00 to 19:00. The festival features medieval-themed activities across several city locations, including knight duels, fire shows, a medieval market, and traditional crafts such as calligraphy and blacksmithing. Family-oriented activities include donkey rides, a treasure hunt, and theatrical tours of the Castillet.

In Pibrac, near Toulouse, the 9th edition of La Mékanik du Rire will run from Friday, October 9, to Sunday, October 11, 2026. Organized by the association Act En Rue, the festival expects 14,000 spectators. The program includes approximately thirty street performances, theater, and comedy acts, such as shows by Gorgomar and Fred Tousch, supported by a team of 240 volunteers.
