Cultural festivals scheduled in Întorsura Buzăului and Conacul Zăgujeni

Several cultural festivals are scheduled to take place in Romania. The 53rd edition of the ‘Ciobănașul’ Folklore Festival will be held on September 5 and 6 in the Întorsura Buzăului camping area. Organized by the Întorsura Buzăului City Hall and the local House of Culture, the event features vocal-instrumental groups such as DIART and Babasha, alongside various folklore ensembles, choirs, and soloists from Romania and Moldova.

Additionally, the third edition of the ‘Zestrea – Festival of Arts and Delights’ will take place at Conacul Zăgujeni on September 12 and 13. The festival aims to celebrate the nearly 200-year multicultural history of the manor through exhibitions, workshops, wine tastings, and local artisan displays. The program includes theatrical performances, such as Lari Georgescu’s ‘Moftul român’, and musical acts ranging from Balkan music by Negro Oro Balkan Bagage to jazz and ambient explorations by Petre Ionuțescu.
