Comarnic bypass to open as White Night of Galleries celebrates 20th anniversary

Romania is seeing significant developments in both infrastructure and culture. The Comarnic bypass, a nearly six-kilometer road designed to alleviate traffic congestion on the DN1 through Valea Prahovei, is scheduled to open on October 1 at 14:00. The project includes complex structures such as bridges and a 380-meter passage over the Prahova River and the Ploiești–Brașov railway line.

Simultaneously, the 20th edition of the White Night of Galleries (NAG) is taking place across 19 cities, including Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, and Târgu Mureș, with Chișinău participating for the first time. The event features hundreds of exhibitions and cultural projects. Other notable cultural activities include an exhibition on traditional Gorj gates at Curtișoara, a conference on contemporary art in Brașov, and various solo exhibitions in Arad and Bistrița-Năsăud.
