Cultural initiatives and graduations marked in Dominican Republic

In the Dominican Republic, several local cultural and educational milestones have been marked. María Peña Avelino, a former Miss Dominican Republic Universe candidate, has launched the ‘Premios Pedro Brand’. This initiative aims to recognize and highlight the talent of residents in the Pedro Brand municipality, including artists, entrepreneurs, athletes, and professionals, to foster community pride and development.

Additionally, Queen’s Academy RD celebrated its 64th graduation ceremony in Santo Domingo. The event featured a fashion show showcasing the ‘Náutica of Queen’s’ collection, which utilized nautical themes and colors such as navy blue, white, and red. The ceremony also included the presentation of the ‘Gia Nautique Caribbean Edition’ by designer Gia and a formal pinning ceremony for graduating students to mark their professional advancement in modeling.
