In the Pedro Brand municipality, María Peña Avelino launched the ‘Premios Pedro Brand’ to recognize local talent in fields such as art, entrepreneurship, and athletics. During the ceremony, National Director Father Geovanny Pujols De León, SJ, stated that the educational efforts aim to provide ‘a window of freedom, dignity, and development.’ Additionally, the National Institute of Student Welfare (INABIE) provided dental, visual, auditory, and epidemiological health services to more than 600 students in the region.
