Cultural initiatives promote French and Romanian artistry in Europe

The Alliance Française in Suceava is hosting French singer-songwriter Daphné Dauvilliers for the autumn edition of its ‘Le chanteur du mois’ project. The online event, held via Google Meet, features Dauvilliers, whose pop-folk repertoire focuses on themes of female experience, solidarity, and freedom.

Separately, the third edition of the ‘Turnee de poveste’ (Story Tours) project is promoting Romanian cultural identity across Europe. The series begins with a recital by soprano Teodora Gheorghiu and pianist Diana Ionescu at Mozarthaus Vienna. The tour will continue with performances in Berlin, London, and Rome, featuring various Romanian musicians. The initiative is funded by the Department for Romanians Abroad and produced by Pro Contemporania, aimed at strengthening ties between Romania and its diaspora.
