Cultural music festivals announced for August 2026 in southern France

Multiple music and opera festivals are scheduled for August 2026 in the southern regions of France.

The 4th Festival d’Opéra du Sud-Aveyron will take place on August 19 and 20 at the Château de Sambucy in Millau. The program includes a lecture-performance titled "Mon Starmania" featuring Fabienne Thibeault, followed by a performance of Mozart's "Così fan tutte" featuring an intimate blend of theater and song.

Meanwhile, the 58th edition of the Festival du Quercy Blanc will feature three specific musical events: a percussion performance by Duo Haïkaï on August 13 at the Cloître des Ursulines in Montpezat-de-Quercy, a vocal and guitar dialogue by Duo Hestia on August 18 at the Église Saint-Privat in Montcuq, and a violin and piano performance by Clara Cernat and Thierry Huillet on August 21 in Castelnau-Montratier.
