Cultural performances held in Greece

Various cultural events are taking place across Greece, including the final tour dates for the production of Aristophanes’ ‘Peace’. Directed by Nikos Karathanos with an adaptation by Phivos Delivorias and music by Angelos Triantafyllou, the play explores themes of peace versus the violence of war through music and collective celebration. The production is scheduled to conclude its tour with upcoming performances in Athens.

In Pydna, the Pieria Muses Institute of Katerini held a musical event at the Byzantine Castle of Ancient Pydna. Conducted by Efthymios Mavridis, the performance featured a choir, orchestra, and soloists. The program included works inspired by Federico García Lorca and music by Mikis Theodorakis, set against the historical backdrop of the archaeological site.
