Cultural venues in Spain announce new exhibitions and rebrandings

The Panoràmic festival is entering its tenth edition this autumn, marking a transition to a new identity as ‘Arts i Cultures Visuals’. Based at Roca Umbert, the program runs from October 15 to December 27 and commemorates 200 years of photography history. The festival includes over twenty exhibitions and ten activities in Granollers, with additional programming expanding to Barcelona, Terrassa, and Vic. Notable participants include American photographer Donna Ferrato, who will present ‘Holy’, and an exhibition dedicated to the centenary of Miroslav Tichy.

In Barcelona, the former IMAX venue at Port Vell is reopening on October 5 as a space for large-format cultural experiences. The inaugural exhibition, ‘Iniesta Experience: El Joc Interior’, focuses on the career and personal life of former FC Barcelona and Spanish national team midfielder Andrés Iniesta. The interactive display uses eight rooms to explore his journey from Fuentealbilla to elite professional football, addressing themes such as mental health, pressure, and vulnerability.
