Culture Minister Margareth Menezes delivers mobile cultural centers in Rio Grande do Sul

Brazil's Minister of Culture, Margareth Menezes, is conducting a visit to Rio Grande do Sul to deliver cultural infrastructure projects. In Porto Alegre, the Minister visited the Cirandar Community Library to deliver new book collections and federal certification.

In Tramandaí, the Minister will officially deliver a MovCEU mobile cultural unit. This unit, along with others destined for the municipalities of Bagé and Rio Grande, is part of the ‘Territórios da Cultura’ program. These mobile centers are adapted vehicles designed to provide libraries, outdoor cinema, cultural workshops, digital inclusion, and audiovisual production services to various communities.

Federal investments in cultural infrastructure within Rio Grande do Sul total R$ 50 million across 35 municipalities. This includes the implementation of new CEUs da Cultura and the operation of MovCEU units, which represent an investment of R$ 1.83 million for the three specific units being delivered.
