Culture Ministry allocates 10 million dinars for Oplenac church work

The Serbian Ministry of Culture has earmarked ten million dinars to co‑finance investigative and conservation work on the façade of the Church of Saint George at Oplenac in Topola. The funding aims to provide the necessary studies and guidelines for a comprehensive reconstruction of the historic monument.

Additional allocations include 250,000 dinars for the creation of a virtual tour of the church and mausoleum, 10 million dinars for replacing the roof of the local cultural centre, and 750,000 dinars to establish a children's department in the Radoje Domanović public library. In total, the ministry has assigned 21.15 million dinars to projects in Topola this year through three separate competitions.
